ConservAxion by Regenerative SPACE offers a funding mechanism for nature-based solutions to build resilience at the local level. This cloud-hosted platform innovatively integrates various technologies to ensure complete transparency, traceability and accountability of funds supporting conservation and local community resilience.
The ConservAxion platform connects willing donors, funders and investors directly to
programmes and projects aligned to their passions and desired funding outcomes.
Transactions will be legitimised and made by code-contracts within the Geo-Distributed
Ledger, releasing financial transactions to programmes, projects, and communities, if and
when their targets are reached.
ConservAxion is designed to address biodiversity loss as well as addressing socio-
environmental challenges through strengthening local circular green economies. It is
engineered to direct conservation and development projects that are open, transparent
and optimized, rather than driven by maximum profit and purely commercial interests.
A PHASED APPROACH
We are launching by Regenerative SPACE as a Phase One Proof of Concept, simply meaning that we’ll use our own Green Economy Programme to demonstrate the feasibility and practical potential as an alternative way of securing financial support for social-environmental programmes and projects across the world.
A Proof of Concept is usually limited in scope and not necessarily comprehensive. Launching only the priorities of our own Green Economy Programme ensures that all possible teething problems can be dealt with in-house, before we open ConservAxion by Regenerative SPACE for the on-boarding of other programmes and projects from like-minded proponents during Phase Two. Part of what we want to put to the test is our belief that people from all walks of life, from all corners of the world, are ready and willing to take action to make a real difference. We have confidence in our philosophy, and we think other people will too. We also trust that ordinary people will see that ConservAxion makes it really easy to help others and the planet. In the end, we want to demonstrate the feasibility and practical potential of ConservAxion by Regenerative SPACE to effect social change, and to address our global environmental crises in fundamentally different ways.
Phase Two will see the on-boarding of programmes and projects from other like-minded proponents onto by Regenerative SPACE. Phase Two will only commence once all possible issues with Phase One have been resolved. Since we anticipate high levels of interest in what by Regenerative SPACE offers socio-environmental programmes and projects across the globe, we make it possible to register interest in on-boarding a project or programme.
